All About Me
My Background
Hello, I'm Megan, and here is a bit about myself and my journey in the world of health and wellness.
My first steps towards helping others achieve better health and well-being started by pursuing a degree in Sport Exercise and Health at the University of Birmingham, graduating in the summer of 2023. Alongside my degree, I obtained a Level 5 certification in Soft Tissue Therapy in 2022, at the London School of Sports Massage. During my time in Birmingham, I had the privilege of working in a private clinic, where I honed my skills in treating soft tissue injuries and chronic pains. I also gained valuable experience working with sports teams, particularly hockey and rugby teams, providing specialised sports massage therapies. Through these experiences, I've had the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, each with their unique needs and challenges. This exposure has deepened my understanding of the human body and the various ways it can benefit from therapeutic care.
My commitment to learning means I'm currently pursuing further education in Southampton, where I'm working towards completing an MSc in physiotherapy. Additionally, I've recently added dry cupping and taping to my list of qualifications, and I have a future course in acupuncture on the horizon. My goal is to continually expand my skill set to improve my range of offered treatments. In addition to my massage and physiotherapy pursuits, I've also ventured into the realm of energy healing. I am a qualified Level 2 Reiki practitioner, with an interest in promoting well-being on both emotional and physical levels. This holistic approach allows me to address not only the physical aspects of your well-being but also the emotional and energetic dimensions.
Whether you seek relief from chronic pain, injury recovery, or a sense of inner peace and balance, I am here to support you on your path to wellness. Your well-being is my priority, and I'm excited to be a part of your journey toward a healthier, happier you.
